I'm not sure the number of hires this year but I think they are shooting for 3 academies due to retirements. Also wanting to open another station or two. Engine 55 is in service during peak hours now...

Sectors are synonymous with Groups or in some cases Divisions, just for education.

Alpha, bravo, charlie, delta can also be replaced by North, South, East and West sectors.

They do have Fire Officer 1 thru 3 certs but this is on top of that and specific agencies can require it.

Yes they sure did....it's becoming a requirement out here which I find ironic ($700 a pop)..Our ICS system is slightly different in nomenclature but works synonymous with IMS and NIMS.

We did a regular vote for membership, 51% or greater yes votes. Granted we are waayyyy smaller than LAFCoFD but the final result was 75 to 5.

The second part was selling the benefits to our admin....
