Default Scott Franklin Los Angeles County Fire, ret.

Scott Franklin - Former Local 1014 Vice President - has passed away on 1st June 2017. He was a game changer and part of a team at Local 1014 that helped shape our job as we know it today regarding our wages and hours and working conditions. We thank him for his work, his service and our thoughts and prayers are with his family members as we grieve. May you rest in peace Scott and may we Never Forget. Here are some great words by Brother Steve Lindsey also a great Local 1014 Brother...

I had the pleasure to work with Captain Franklin on a Wild Land Fire Control Committee in 1988. He was a true LACoFD Stat. 73 supporter. BUT he also was a kind and very experienced wild land firefighter. He was well trained, took pride in his agency and also was very willing to share his knowledge. TIP Brothter Scott Franklin!
