Good looking dinners. I enjoy cooking, mostly chicken / fish and veggies.

Haven't really spent much time in the kitchen until I started reserving almost 6 months ago. Kind of knew my way around, but I've been getting some good experience and have been taking notes. It's getting there.

Store had 8.3# of bone in pork shoulder for $13 and everyone loves pulled pork bbq. Pork shoulder is great for me because it's loaded with fat (and that good mono fat too), cheap, and easy. Also makes it a great firehouse meal, can't really overcook something in a slow cooker. I got 6 hours and it was hard to get out without it just falling apart. Serve with slaw and potatoes or mac & cheese if someone in your station is picky.

Recipe was based off of of the one below. No idea where they found a 3# bit of meat so I tripled everything they had for what I bought.

The picture I have isn't as pretty since I ate it plain (very limited carbs and I couldn't even have slaw by the time it was done).
